A community station partnership (CSP) brings the local community together with the Train Operating Company (TOC) and Network Rail to support localism and economic and social regeneration. The purpose of a CSP is to improve the station environs and increase passenger usage of rail.

Volunteers work to bring local character and life to neighbourhood stations, and we raise funds for basic station enhancements such as organising water taps for volunteer gardeners, installing planters and providing additional seating for passengers.

On the Chase Line we have ambitions to celebrate the local industrial heritage and beautiful surrounding landscape along the line, our biggest project underway is the one described in detail on this website - to install a modernised vintage railway carriage on unused land adjacent to Hednesford railway station, creating a local community hub.
Alongside this aspirational project, we organise general station activities of:

-
Gardening
-
Tidying
-
Adding local arts and enhancements to the platforms
-
Chatting to passengers
-
Taking part in joint activities for the railway line

Volunteers NEEDED!
Social Media
WE would love a volunteer to step forward to help with logging activities on social media and enhancing local awareness to the station group and works.

Web Content
We now have a great website but don’t have time to load updates and news

Press & Publicity
We would also be delighted if a volunteer could offer to write press releases for the group, we have so much good news and it would be great to share and publicise.

Benefits
Our group is a social and happy one and we all have enthusiasm for working to support our local town/s and the railways. We would warmly welcome new members to join our positive, team-working group, please do contact us if you might be interested.
